But the previous incidents on soccer fields probably weren’t an adult hitting a minor. I accept what you’re saying about the rules of hockey, but I’m just saying that it’s a more common occurrence in hockey, whereas in soccer it isn’t, which is partly why this has drawn so much attention. If this was 2 over 18′s, it’d be a whole lot different I think, and I doubt she wouldn’t have been charged. But she cannot be excused for hitting a minor just because it was on a soccer field, in my opinion.
Really? I checked the NHL rule book… it didnt say brawling was part of the sport. I also had a look at the rule books of the international ice hockey regulating body…. found nothing there to say that brawling. was part of the sport. For good measure, I also looked at previous incidents on soccer fiels in the US, I never noticed that players get charged with an assault charge for beating up other players. So what is the difference in this case?
Ice Hockey is different though. It’s part of the sport. The same for MMA or Boxing. If you go into those sports, you do so aware that you might get hurt in a fight. Soccer isn’t the same, brawling isn’t a part of the game. What happened here happens in pretty much every soccer match there is; two players chasing the ball and #4 clips #15′s heels. That happens in every match. Soccer is a contact sport, yes, but means you come into contact through slide tackles, barges etc. Not full on punches!

I have played soccer for over 40 years and I have never seen this kind of reaction to a little trip. There must have been more going on, but from this video #15 on white deserves to be charged for assault. Since she is 18 she assaulted a 15 old I would not be surprised if 15 gets jail time. There is no excuse for this assault.Justifying it is ridiculous.

“Well, its a contact sport.” Exactly!! Thats why you might expect to get tripped accidentally. It clearly wasnt intentional. She didnt get up and give the other girl time 2 apologize, or accept that she is in a contact sport and this could happen, she simply attacked her like a wild animal. Even 1 strike could be forgiven. She strikes her 3 TIMES, then pulls her by the hair + strikes her 5 MORE times b4 being removed, with NO SIGN of letting up. Would this viscous animal kill her if not stop?

Yes we rescued the “odd couple” from a roadside zoo that closed down, they enjoy each others company so we kept them together, they have both been fixed to prevent them from breeding.
